How to use it

  1. Choose a clear static image containing one QR code.
  2. Read it locally and inspect the extracted text.
  3. Copy the text only if you need it; reset to release the image.

Useful situations

  • Inspect a QR code received in a message.
  • Check the exact address in a code before opening it.

Limits and supported formats

Up to 10 MiB and 20 megapixels; processing scales the image to a 1600px edge. Supports QR codes, not every barcode type. Damaged or very small codes can fail; no camera access is required.

Privacy

We do not store tool content or results. Optional usage events do not include files, filenames, text, passwords or QR contents. Reset when finished and save any output you need on your own device.

Questions about this tool

Will the decoded website open automatically?

No. The reader displays plain text and never follows a decoded address. A readable code is not a guarantee that its destination is safe.
