Muse Image edits: state what must stay unchanged
Use permitted references and a precise change, then compare the export with the original for altered text, identity and surrounding details.
In brief
Muse Image supports editing and composition from references. A useful edit request identifies both the requested change and the details that must remain intact.
This makes unintended changes visible instead of judging the result only by its general appearance.
Give a precise editing brief
For a product image, specify the background change and require the product label to remain readable and unchanged. For a scene, identify which person or object should remain the same. Avoid a vague request to “improve everything” when fidelity matters.
Inspect details at full size
Check logos, lettering, faces and object geometry against the original. Inspect edges and the area around the edit, not only the thumbnail. A visually polished image can still change a specification or introduce a misleading detail.
Publish with the right meaning
Use an edited illustration for its intended purpose and disclose changes where they could mislead. Do not present a fabricated product capability or event as photographed evidence. For exact data or engineering diagrams, use a format whose values and geometry can be checked directly.
Before you act
A generated edit is not reliable evidence of an original event or product. Reference access does not grant publication rights, and text or precise diagrams still need manual checking.
What to do next
- Choose reference material you may use and one clear edit.
- State protected details such as text, layout or object identity.
- Compare the full export with the original before sharing.
