Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Royal Edition: check the DLC first
Compare the Royal contents with what you own, including the GOG-specific PROS limitation, before choosing it over Standard.
In brief
Royal Edition bundles Kingdom Come: Deliverance II with additional content. Its usefulness depends on whether you want the story expansions and whether you already own the base game, not on an expired sale price.
Checking the included expansions and storefront limitation prevents buying a bundle for a bonus it cannot deliver.
What Royal adds
The listed story DLC includes Brushes with Death, Legacy of the Forge and Mysteria Ecclesiae. Cosmetic or equipment packs serve a different purpose from new story content. Compare these with the expansions you intend to play instead of treating every listed item as equally valuable.
Understand the GOG-specific limit
The product page explicitly says the PROS account system is not implemented in the GOG version. A bonus dependent on that system is therefore not a reason to buy this version. Check the exact storefront edition rather than importing a bonus list from another platform.
Check an upgrade before rebuying
If you already own the game, inspect available expansion or upgrade options in that same store. Do not assume Royal on GOG will add content to a Steam installation. Read requirements against your own hardware; the edition title is not a performance guarantee.
Before you act
GOG states that PROS-dependent bonus content is unavailable in its version. The October 7 sale ended, and this page does not promise a current price or cross-store upgrade.
What to do next
- List your existing base game and DLC, including the storefront.
- Compare Royal’s contents with Standard and separately sold expansions.
- Read the GOG PROS note and system requirements, then check the actual checkout price.
