Limits and supported formats
Static PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 10 MiB, 20 megapixels and 8192px per edge; output up to 4096px. No SVG, GIF, HEIC or animation. JPEG flattens transparency onto white. Browser colour conversion can vary; keep the original. Cropping is not secure redaction of the original, and does not blur information that remains inside the selected area.
Privacy
We do not store tool content or results. Optional usage events do not include files, filenames, text, passwords or QR contents. Reset when finished and save any output you need on your own device.
Questions about this tool
Does cropping hide information permanently?
The exported copy contains the selected rectangle. Keep the original private; inspect the output and do not treat cropping as a forensic redaction system.
